An exercise that isolates and works only your lats, performed before your workout, allows you to avoid this problem. Because your lats will have tired somewhat before you ever start doing rows, your biceps will be less likely to limit you. While becoming huge and muscly isn’t for everyone, building muscle tone and strength has many benefits everyone could enjoy. You will be raising your self-esteem, improving your joints and overall strength, and your lungs will even get stronger if you add some light or medium cardio work to your exercise routine. Set goals which are both realistic and short term. Doing too much too fast will only result in harm. Once you know your starting strength, you will be better able to identify appropriate goals.
